Britdog - Craft beer label designs
Inspired by the aesthetic and cultural zeitgeist of the swinging 60’s, I created a beer label that captures the spirit of the era.
Many design concepts during the 60’s had inspired me such as psychedelia, pop-art and repeating patterns to create a refreshing take on beer label design. The Britdog beer label aims to be disruptive through its vibrant colour scheme and unique typography, and this makes it stand out against the competition.
Kabuki - Japanese Theatre packaging
I designed this packaging which features a kimono-inspired print and other elements of traditional Japanese clothing.
The packaging features a yellow and white floral print with a red and white band, resembling an obi (sash). These colours reference the Japanese flag, while the characters next to the red circle enhance the design's authenticity.
The Silent River
Inspired by book covers from author’s in the Thriller genre such as Simon Kernick and Lee Child, I designed three book covers for a thriller called The Silent River. Playing around with different typography treatments to help convey a sense of unease and disruption. Additionally these covers feature my own photographs that I took of a local riverside.
Classic Book Covers Redesigned
Here I have redesigned popular books in order to appease a modern audience. I have used clean illustrations that visually represent many elements of the book and bold fonts for an engaging and exciting new look.
